Cheap Truck Parts in Oshawa

I’m not sure of the accuracy of the details below, but it was definitely a
bad day for all involved. The bumping post gives an interesting view of
how far the cut rolled out.

This incident happened about a month ago in the Oshawa CP Rail yard which
ships out the GM vehicles.

One of the car men who attaches and detaches the car haulers accidently
unhooked a set of train cars without having the brakes applied.

The Oshawa rail yard has a slight incline to it, so when the set of cars
was unhooked from the engine it started to roll down the hill, it smashed
through the stop block and then through the fence and continued into the
parking lot where GM stores the new vehicles that come off the line.

Over 300 vehicles were damaged.

In the history of photography, there has never been a time that we can achieve such phenomenal results in editing as has happened in the digital age. And while there are a myriad of tools that the computer and internet have made available to us to enhance and change the images that come from a photo shoot, none can top the popularity and power of Adobe Photoshop. The program has become so synonymous with editing and creating effects that the term, “to Photoshop” has become a verb that means to enhance or alter an image.

We can “Photoshop in” new outfits, accessories or even people to a shot where it was just not possible before. So if you want a picture of you shaking hands with the president, you don’t have to go to Washington to get it, just “Photoshop” your image into the image of the president and it will look as real as if you had been there.

Similarly, we can “Photoshop” out things from a picture we don’t want to see there anymore. So if you have a physical flaw, that can be removed. You can even remove a distracting person from the background of the shot. The program is so sophisticated that these images are possible and you really cannot tell the alteration has been made.

Photoshop has become such a de facto standard for photo processing that if you are setting up a photography studio or business, a copy of the software is as necessary as Microsoft word or PowerPoint. The good thing about this software is that it is readily accessible and a lot of people know how to use it. So if you feel insecure about learning yet another computer application, you can probably find a college student, someone at the high school or maybe the junior high that knows Photoshop in and out and can help you jump start your use of the software as well.

But Photoshop has not always dominated this genre. The program was created in 1989 by two brothers, John Knoll and Thomas Knoll. While the brothers developed Photoshop for custom uses they had at the time, it wasn’t long before the market potential of this software became evident. So, being smart entrepreneurs, John and Thomas founded a little company called Adobe and began operations in 1990.

Adobe has been a shining example of how to achieve success in the age of the internet. Today few of us who use the internet are not aware of Adobe. You probably cannot find a personal computer that uses the internet that does not have a free copy of the Adobe reader on it to read PDF files. The PDF format is yet another example of how this little company has created and then taken over a particular market of online business.

To really become skilled at using Photoshop, the first thing to do is probably find a copy to play with. Like most computer applications, you can probably find a copy on a friend’s computer just to tinker with it and get a feel for the controls. Then if your friend is a wizard at Photoshop, let him or her show you some of the real “wiz-bang” things they can do with Photoshop using the same menus you were just tinkering with. This little Saturday afternoon experiment could turn you into a Photoshop addict forever.

After that, you would do well to download a copy for yourself. You can get an evaluation version that will give you most of the features. But you really only need that if you are not sure if you are going to buy a copy. Since Photoshop dominates this market, you almost certainly will buy a copy so you might save some frustration and purchase a licensed copy right away. Now, you will probably find yourself playing with the software for long hours just having fun and that’s great. But don’t overlook the value of taking some organized classes in photo editing using Adobe Photoshop. These classes can show you the shortcuts and how to get the most out of the software.

From there on out, your imagination is the only limit to how you will use this tool to make your photographs better for your customers. And you will be able to respond enthusiastically when someone says, “that’s ok, you can just Photoshop that and fix it right up.”

November is diabetes awareness month, with November 14 – World Diabetes Day - the most significant date on the diabetes calendar.
The need to increase diabetes awareness grows ever year with the increasing impact of the disease worldwide. The latest data, recently published by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in the 4th Edition of the Diabetes Atlas, show that 285 million people worldwide now live with diabetes. IDF predicts that the total number will exceed 435 million in 2030[1] if the current rate of growth continues unchecked.
Ahead of World Diabetes Day, IDF President Professor Jean Claude Mbanya called for increased health promotion and political action in the face of the epidemic. “Diabetes is claiming four million lives each year,” he said. “It is ravaging communities and threatening economies. We must improve care and stop the many millions at risk from developing the disease. With a growing cost of over 376 billion dollars a year, either we make healthy life choices available and affordable today, or pay billions more tomorrow.”
World Diabetes Day around the globe
Celebrated every year, World Diabetes Day is a campaign led by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and its more than 200 member associations in over 160 countries and territories. Created by IDF and the World Health Organization in 1991, World Diabetes Day became an official United Nations Day in 2007 thanks to a UN resolution that calls on all member states to organize events to mark the day.
This year sees the first of a five-year campaign that addresses the growing need for diabetes education and prevention programmes to tackle diabetes and its life-threatening complications. The World Diabetes Day campaign aims to establish access to diabetes education as a right for all people with diabetes, to promote greater awareness of the risk factors and warning signs of diabetes, and encourage best-practice sharing in diabetes prevention.
The International Diabetes Federation is calling on all countries to mark World Diabetes Day and increase diabetes awareness by lighting monuments around the world in blue – the colour of the blue circle, the global symbol for diabetes. More than 400 monuments and iconic buildings have already confirmed participation on November 14. They include: Table Mountain in South Africa, the London Eye in the United Kingdom, the Burj al Arab in the United Arab Emirates, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, the Hofburg in Austria, the Alamo in the USA and Tokyo Tower in Japan. Across Japan close to 60 monuments will light in blue; 82 will light in Argentina, 34 in Kazakhstan and 21 in the USA.
In addition to the lightings, hundreds of events will take place worldwide to mark the day, from individual acts of celebration and community-based activities, all the way up to regional events such as the Pan-African meeting in Mauritius that will see the launch of an African Declaration on diabetes.

H1 N1 Flu Precautions

Thyroid specialist) having clinical experience of over 20 years. He

has worked in institutions like Hinduja Hospital , Bombay Hospital ,

Saifee Hospital , Tata Memorial etc. Presently, he is heading our

Nuclear Medicine Department and Thyroid clinic at Riddhivinayak

Cardiac and Critical Centre, Malad (W).

The following message given by him, I feel makes a

lot of sense and is important for all to know

The only portals of entry are the nostrils and

mouth/throat. In a global epidemic of this nature, it's almost

impossible to avoid coming into contact with H1N1 in spite of all

precautions. Contact with H1N1 is not so much of a problem as

proliferation is.

While you are still healthy and not showing any

symptoms of H1N1 infection, in order to prevent proliferation,

aggravation of symptoms and development of secondary infections, some

very simple steps, not fully highlighted in most official

communications, can be practiced (instead of focusing on how to stock

N95 or Tamiflu):

1. Frequent hand-washing (well highlighted in all

official communications).

2. "Hands-off-the-face" approach. Resist all

temptations to touch any part of face (unless you want to eat, bathe

or slap).

3. *Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use

Listerine if you don't trust salt)... *H1N1 takes 2-3 days after

initial infection in the throat/ nasal cavity to proliferate and show

characteristic symptoms. Simple gargling prevents proliferation. In a

way, gargling with salt water has the same effect on a healthy

individual that Tamiflu has on an infected o ne. Don't underestimate

this simple, inexpensive and powerful preventative method.

4. Similar to 3 above, *clean your nostrils at least

once every day with warm salt water. *Not everybody may be good at

Jala Neti or Sutra Neti (very good Yoga asanas to clean nasal

cavities), but *blowing the nose hard once a day and swabbing both

nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is very effective

in bringing down viral population.* Neti pots and sinus rinse kits are

available at the drug store and relatively inexpensive under $15.

5. *Boost your natural immunity with foods that are

rich in Vitamin C (Amla and other citrus fruits). *If you have to

supplement with Vitamin C tablets, make sure that it also has Zinc to

boost absorption.

6. *Drink as much of warm liquids (tea, coffee, etc)

as you can. *Drinking warm liquids has the same effect as gargling,

but in the reverse direction. They wash off proliferating viruses from

the throat into the stomach where they cannot survive, proliferate or

do any harm.

I suggest you pass this on to your entire e-list..

You never know who might pay attention to it - and STAY ALIVE because

of it...
